We found the F/V Silver Wave in Clarence Strait on a picture perfect day in 2013. It’s nice to see a new boat in the southeast mix that’s not a Canadian pop can. The wooden boats aren’t as practical in this modern era of super seiners, but they sure are gorgeous.

I'm loving life in Alaska! Check out my viewpoint from Alaska, as I go commercial fishing and skiing thru the land of the midnight sun. This is Alaska commercial fishing shown the way it should be, from fishermen. When, I'm not working on the high seas, I enjoy time with my family in Juneau, AK enjoying life, love and salmon in southeast Alaska

    1. The classic lines of these boats will always look great on the ocean. I never get tied of seeing them, it’s a shame that they will all be just memories in our metal future of fishing boats.
