We found the F/V Silver Wave in Clarence Strait on a picture perfect day in 2013. It’s nice to see a new boat in the southeast mix that’s not a Canadian pop can. The wooden boats aren’t as practical in this modern era of super seiners, but they sure are gorgeous.

The classic lines of these boats will always look great on the ocean. I never get tied of seeing them, it’s a shame that they will all be just memories in our metal future of fishing boats.
