Weston Hartley, the skiff man aboard the Wonderland, has documented an amazing string of deckloads throughout this summer. Here is a slideshow of all nine. That number is pretty amazing, but back in 2004, I worked on the Wondy and we managed to hit 14 in a row that season. Too bad the price wasn’t better back then. This summer will be the most lucrative ever for many boats in southeast alaska. Here’s to a great summer salmon season.
