Its time to mop up some late season king salmon in Half Moon Bay. Fall squid is just around the corner, so its nice to get another fishery in before I head back to the squid hunt. The harbor is gorgeous and highly functional. Boats have east access to standard facilities, plus the ability to sell right from the docks to the hungry and informed Bay area fish-o-philes. It feels great to catch the salmon right off shore and them sell it right off the docks in your home port. This harbor is a modern fishermen’s dream.
