It’s time for my first crabbing experience in southeast Alaska. Its Golden King Crab and Tanner season in southeast Alaska. Its been about three weeks of gear work. This fishery has tons of pots that must be repaired and moved then loaded. Nothing seems to go smoothly in Petersburg, but I’m excited to be back in Southeast and close to my fishing roots. Squid fishing was pretty much a bust the entire last year, so I’m excited to start the new year with some new fishing opportunities.
