Another banner season for squid is underway in California. Night after night, fishermen are dotted along the coast from Monterey to Ventura. This year it sounds like boats are even down by Santa Barbara. Last year’s fishery was the first time that the entire quota has been achieved. The extremely warm water conditions created somewhat of a squid phenomena. It appears that it could be another amazing year for squid.
