After last year’s banner squid season, boats and crew are back at it again and doing well. The entire quota was caught before christmas last year. Thats amazing, considering the season generally lasts from October until March. The La Nina pattern is still strong, which means the warmer water temp is a dream for squid. Hopefully, we will have some live updates from the fishery as things heat up. Stay tuned.
