Via YouTube: “Summer with Maria” is a documentary about Bristol bay. It follows the lives of the four men aboard the Maria S.A, a drift boat. If you’ve ever wondered what fishing in Bristol bay is like, this film will hopefully answer all your questions. Starting in Kodiak, Alaska, they travel through Lake Iliamna to get to the fishing grounds where they catch wild Alaskan salmon. As the season ends they begin the trek back to Kodiak. Enjoy!
