The hunt for fall chums turned out to be very unfruitful. However, I heard a certain someone was the big hero for the actual day we were able to fish.
The fishery is managed by the Northwest Fisheries Treaty Commission and the Department Of Fish and Wildlife. Sadly, most of the fishing days are allocated importunately between the the two departments, which results in horrible management of the resource. In the simplest of terms: Even during smaller runs, the fishing days should benefit all permit holders equally.
