The Commercial Fisheries Center of Rhode Island partnered with the University of Rhode Island and state government agencies to create a registered apprenticeship that serves as an entry point to the diverse careers offered by this valuable industry. Industry experts pass on fundamental knowledge in this free 20-day crew training program that combines hands-on training with classroom instruction.
