Every year, hundreds of seiners work for their share of wild Alaskan salmon. Set by set, they slowly fill their holds with fish until they’re able to deliver to a tender or a processor in town. This is just one small step of what it takes to get wild Alaskan salmon from the ocean to your dinner plate. Thanks to Nate and the guys on the F/V Historian for letting me hang out for a set!
