This season is off to a fairly slow start. Pinks Salmon are beginning to show, and ADFG has opened new areas this coming Sunday. The lack of serious volumes of chum salmon have stalled most fishermen. Amagla Harbor, which was open yesterday, failed to impress captains and crews with a Super Bowl of Salmon Seining. The boat average was a meager 8000 pounds. Come on pink salmon.
