It appears that herring spawned again in Sitka Sound over the past week. Its obvious that the Sitka Sac Roe Harvest could have caught with a little patience. Sadly, patience is a quality lacking in many fishermen. Kodiak Herring is going off now and prices continue to rise. Ah… I’m just not sure what happened in Sitka this season.
