A huge part of the preseason is making sure that the net is in proper shape for the upcoming season. It’s not uncommon to see up to 6 boats working on their nets in different lanes. You start at one end and make “pulls” towards the other direction. Ideally, your stretches are uniform and you can hang in extra web to help billow out the net in the water.
