Wow! Southeast Alaska is off to a great start. Typically, August is the strongest part of the run and we are just getting there. With the best price ever and a record breaking early pink run on the north end, its going to be an amazing season. Some boats have easily matched the crew shares from last season and are on pace to double it with a strong showing on the coming weeks.
Most boats are packed into the north end near Icy Strait. Upper Chatam has been an incredible producer for the month of July. So, the Humpy Highway is jam packed in Southeast Alaska.

Thanks for the updates. My best trip this summer (my first) was to Duke Island on our small 2 man troller… 6 days, 850 Coho, 50 Dogs, 100 Pinks. We had room for about 100 more to fill up our boat. I can only imagine what it must be like on a bigger boat!
My first season will be over in a few weeks (due to improper planning). But I really appreciate all of your help and useful information. Keep up the good work!
