We are currently heading south of Ketchikan to Kendrick Bay. The season is just getting started and Kendrick Bay has an opener that lasts for 4 days, as compared to the one day opener everywhere else across southeast Alaska. The real volume of salmon has yet to show, but the season is gearing up. The early showing of pink salmon is a great indication of a strong run. The price is at its highest ever this year, so it time to start catching. Good luck to all the saltwater soldiers out there this season.
