The first week of squid fishing has been a great learning experience. It’s interesting to see all the new boats and even the few that made it all the way from Alaska. So far, we have fished just outside Catalina Island and Ventura. The fishing area is vast. Word on the docks speaks of a great number of squid coming in all the way down to San Diego. So, it appears that I will get quite a tour of the California coastline. Here’s a new series of photos led of my a great pic of my new crew and boat.
