The salmon are starting to appear all over Alaska. While some salmon runs like Bristol Bay are over, Southeast Alaska seems to just be getting started. So far, the season only allowed 6 sanctioned fishing days during July. However, August is typically the peak of the run and offers more fishing opportunities.
