No Fish? Let’s go to Misty Fjords

With the announcement of a full week closure of fishing in Southeast Alaska, we decided to head out to Behm Canal, which is just on the back side of Ketchikan.  Most tourists refer to the area as Misty Fjords, which is pretty catchy.  Luckily, we were blessed with incredible weather.  For four days the sun continued to shine on our moving boat raft.

The first night we hunkered down in Yes Bay, then the next day was a great adventure to Bell Island Hot Springs, supposedly it was a famous lodge in the past.  Now all that is left is abandoned buildings and an awesome pool.  The next destination was Walker Cove, then to Punchbowl Cove.  Overall it was an amazing trip.  In all my years of fishing, I had never had this much fun…  Enjoy the pics.
