Small pacific halibut
PETERSBURG-AK (2009-12-09) Halibut stocks remain on the decline according US and Canadian fishery managers, who are calling for another round of cuts to the commercial harvest in much of Alaska. Southeast would be hardest hit with a reduction of 26 percent for commercial longliners. The International Pacific Halibut Commission announced their 2010 catch limit recommendations this week.
