First Opener in Sitka

The weather was less than desirable, and it was a pretty mellow opener compared to last years first day. The average per boat was about 30 tons. So, slot of boats missed out today. Typically, one day is processing is needed before another fishery, but the chances of fishing tomorrow are increased because of the small catch.
